Miami’s Bam Adebayo Scores 83 Points; Second Most In League History

Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo just secured a massive spot in the history books. Adebayo scored a jaw-dropping 83 points against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night.

The unbelievable feat ranks as the second-highest scoring game in NBA history.

Adebayo officially passed Kobe Bryant’s legendary 81-point performance. He now sits only behind Wilt Chamberlain.

Adebayo broke multiple NBA records at the foul line during the game. He made 36 free throws on 43 total attempts.

The star center carried a heavily shorthanded Miami roster. He dominated from the opening tip and scored 31 points in the first quarter alone.

Adebayo eventually broke LeBron James’ single-game franchise scoring record for the Heat. He reached 63 points by the end of the third quarter.
