Giannis Antetokounmpo is officially heading to the Miami Heat. A blockbuster trade ended his 13-year run with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The massive deal sends Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis to Miami. The Bucks receive Tyler Herro, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kel’el Ware, and Kasparas Jakucionis in exchange.

The Bucks will also receive several valuable draft selections. This package includes the 13th overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft and two future first-round picks.

The agreement closes months of intense speculation. It completely shifts the power dynamic in the Eastern Conference right before the draft.

Antetokounmpo previously praised his new team and said, “They’re going to play tough and they’re not going to stop playing. That’s the Miami Heat culture.”

The monumental trade marks the end of an era in Milwaukee. Antetokounmpo delivered the city its first championship in 50 years and became the franchise’s all-time leading scorer.
