Pepsi is officially pulling its sponsorship from London’s Wireless Festival. The major brand canceled its sponsorship due to the booking of Kanye West.
The sudden withdrawal follows strong criticism from United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
He recently called the booking “deeply concerning.” Starmer strongly condemned the rapper’s past celebration of Nazism. The Prime Minister stated, “Antisemitism in any form is abhorrent.”
A spokesperson for the soft drink giant quickly confirmed the exit. They announced, “Pepsi has decided to withdraw its sponsorship of Wireless festival.”

West recently blamed his past behavior on a brain injury and bipolar disorder.
The festival is still moving forward for now.
Several prominent politicians want the government to block West from entering the country.
