R&B is getting another dose of nostalgia as Donell Jones and Joe prepare to bring their catalogs to Verzuz on Aug. 20 at 9 p.m. ET.
The matchup connects two voices that helped define late-1990s and 2000s R&B. Both singers built careers around romance, heartbreak, desire and complicated relationships.
Jones revealed the matchup Aug. 8 backstage at the Wine & Slow Jams Festival in Maryland. The Chicago native also set expectations for the evening.
