Regina Hall Says We Could Be Getting A ‘Girls Trip 2’ Sooner Than Later

Regina Hall just gave fans the update they’ve been thirsting for: Girls Trip 2 is officially inching closer to theaters. The beloved actress gave the update while sipping and chatting at a cozy summer cookout hosted by Bounty Paper Towels at The Arlo Hotel in SoHo on June 25. Hall confirmed to VIBE that the sequel is finally heating up behind the scenes.

“I know they’re writing it… the studio is very excited to get it going. I would imagine it’s probably the closest to being in the works that it has been,” she shared.

Directed by Malcolm D. Lee, the sequel to the 2017 box office smash has been on fans’ radar since the first installment. So, according to Hall, fans can continue to anticipate the chaos, adventures, and comedic relief that she, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Tiffany Haddish created in the original flick.
