Snoop Dogg is going viral for some quotes about LGBTQ representation in film.

He was a guest on the It’s Giving podcast and talked about an experience he had with his grandson when they saw Lightyear in theaters back in 2022.

Snoop said he was caught off guard by the child’s questions about the same-sex couple in the storyline.

“What you see is what you see, and they’re putting it everywhere.”

Snoop then said that his grandchild started asking questions.

“Well, my grandson, in the middle of the movie, is like, ‘Papa Snoop? How she have a baby with a woman? She’s a woman!'”

Snoop recalled thinking, “‘Oh sh–, I didn’t come in for this sh–. I just came to watch the goddamn movie.'” But his grandson pressed on.

Snoop said the experience made him “scared to go to the movies. Y’all throwing me in the middle of sh– that I don’t have an answer for.”

“It threw me for a loop,” Snoop said about his grandson’s curiosity. “We have to show that at this age? Like, they’re going to ask questions. I don’t have the answer.”
