In a series of Instagram Stories posted on Friday, June 20, SZA gave fans a sneak peek of a new collab with Lizzo!

“Working on a guest star for bookie @lizzobeeating’s new mixtape,” SZA wrote in one of the captions, calling it a “lil after-dinner session.”
The clips made their way to social media posted on fan’s accounts.
Lizzo recently announced that her upcoming fifth album Love in Real Life was “done,” so it’s not clear whether or not the studio session with SZA will make the cut or if they were working on a separate project.

DJ Mel Boogie

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.
