Timbaland Accused Of Stealing Music To Train A.I.

Timbaland is facing backlash after a video surfaced showing him allegedly using a beat from producer KFresh without permission to create train AI. The clip shows Timbaland uploading audio from TikTok, featuring KFresh’s original beat and a freestyle from rapper C-Red, into Suno AI, then using his custom “Baby Timbo” model to generate a new version.

Timbaland responded by claiming the remix was simply a reinterpretation of KFresh’s work, complete with the original beat and producer tag. He added that the track had led to a major opportunity: Ghostface Killah had shown interest in the beat and requested it for a project. But according to KFresh, the rapper never contacted him directly, despite the beat being publicly available.
