A two-year-old toddler in Missouri gave his parents a major scare this week after he managed to crawl through a prize door and get himself stuck inside a claw machine.

While his parents were horrified by the situation, witnesses say the boy appeared completely “unfazed” by his predicament, sitting calmly among the stuffed animals while waiting for help to arrive.

First responders were called to the scene and safely unlocked the machine’s glass panel, reuniting the boy with his family without injury.

The boy’s mother described the ordeal as “every parent’s worst nightmare,” telling reporters that she only looked away for a brief moment before her son vanished into the machine.

Store management confirmed that the toddler was unharmed and was even allowed to keep one of the plush toys he was playing with while trapped inside the glass case.

Local authorities are using the viral incident to remind parents how quickly curious children can navigate small openings, especially in areas with colorful displays and toys.
