St. Patrick’s Day is almost here, and Toronto has no shortage of ways to celebrate. To make planning easy, we’ve rounded up some of the best events happening across the city this year.
The Annual St Patrick’s Day Parade.
The parade will take place on Mar. 15 and will happen right after the traditional St. Patrick’s Day Parade Breakfast held at the Madison Pub. The parade will then kick off at 12 p.m. and run until 3 p.m.
The route for this year’s parade remains the same. The event will begin at the corner of St. George St. and Bloor St. W. The procession will then head east along Bloor St. W. before turning south onto Yonge St., where it will conclude at Yonge St. and Dundas St. W.

Road Closures: The parade’s staging area, located near the starting point at St. George St. and Bloor St. W., will be closed starting at 8 a.m. on Mar. 15. The rest of the streets along the route will close beginning at 12 p.m. Keep in mind that sections of the route will reopen as the parade passes through.
