Vybz Kartel Celebrates Fatherhood with Fiancée’s Pregnancy Announcement

Vybz Kartel and his fiancée, Sidem Öztürk, announced they are expecting their first child together.

The couple confirmed the pregnancy by sharing an affectionate moment on stage, where Kartel rubbed Öztürk’s baby bump while performing his 2009 hit “Come Breed Me.”

Kartel and Öztürk have been linked since 2015, having established a relationship through correspondence while Kartel was incarcerated.

She relocated from London to Jamaica to be closer to him after his release in March 2024.

This child will be the couple’s first together, while Kartel is already a father to seven children from previous relationships.
