Former daytime TV legend Maury Povich is showing off his rap skills, and he says he is willing to come out of retirement to settle hip-hop’s biggest feuds.

During a recent YouTube interview, Povich surprised fans by reading and rapping lyrics about himself from artists like 50 Cent and Nicki Minaj.

Povich recited Minaj’s lyric, “You are my son, like an episode of Maury,” before making a direct pitch to the rap star.

He offered to mediate the long-running beef between Minaj and Cardi B, suggesting they sit down on his stage and “take the lie detector test.”

The television icon did not stop with those two artists. He also expressed interest in bringing Drake and Kendrick Lamar together for an on-air reconciliation.

By using his signature lie detector tests, Povich says he wants to help these massive stars smooth out their well-known issues with one another.
