Tory Lanez Denied Appeals in Megan Thee Stallion Case

Tory Lanez’s lawyers tried to overturn his convictions for the 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion, but the court said no.

The ruling on two appeals came through on Tuesday. His team said important evidence, like the gun and bullet fragments, was not shared with them.

The court said more DNA testing would not prove his innocence, since both sides’ experts agreed the results were unclear.

There will be another court hearing for Lanez’s appeal on August 18th in Los Angeles.
