A$AP Rocky’s new album, “Don’t Be Dumb,” will be released on January 16 and features a total of 15 tracks, including previously released songs “Helicopter$” and “Punk Rocky.”
The album’s tracklist includes songs like “Stole Ya Flow,” “Stop Snitching,” and “Whiskey (I’m Not Resisting),” many of which have been performed live by Rocky in recent years.
Although guest features and producers are not officially confirmed, Rocky has hinted at collaborations with notable artists such as Tyler, The Creator, Metro Boomin, and Busta Rhymes, with speculation surrounding Frank Ocean’s possible appearance on “Air Force (Black DeMarco).”
Tim Burton, the renowned filmmaker known for titles like “Beetlejuice” and “Edward Scissorhands,” is a key contributor, having designed the official cover art and being mentioned in the album’s theme, which hints at a nightmare aesthetic.
A$AP Rocky expressed deep admiration for Burton, citing his inspiration from the filmmaker’s artistic style and transition from claymation to live-action storytelling.

Composer Danny Elfman collaborated on the album, scoring multiple tracks alongside Rocky, who mentioned they created music while watching classic films.
The album’s concept involves a journey through various musical genres, described as moving through a city, encompassing jazz, hip hop, metal, indie, and R&B, capturing different moods and moments.
The phrase “the nightmare b4 the release” in the album’s description directly references Burton’s 1982 poem inspired by themes from “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
