Cam’ron is seeking at least $500,000 from J. Cole over a failed collaboration, where he agreed to provide features on two songs in exchange for a future guest verse from Cole.

Cam claims that J. Cole turned him down for the guest verse. He said, “I’m exaggerating, but he was like, ‘The chakra ain’t right now. The moon gotta align with the stars. When I write, I put my all into it.’”

Cam’ron is upset because he quickly fulfilled Cole’s feature requests but did not receive the same promptness in return.
Cam requested an interview with J. Cole to promote an upcoming album, but Cole repeatedly postponed it, citing reasons such as not wanting to discuss his rap battle with Kendrick Lamar.
