It looks like Chris Brown wasn’t the biggest fan of Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance.

Following Bad Bunny’s set, Brown took to social media to suggest he should be next in line for the major stage.

In a post to his Instagram Story immediately after the show, Brown wrote in all caps, “I THINK ITS SAFE TO SAY.. THEY NEED ME!” accompanied by a smirking emoji.

The comment comes as the singer continues to eye a headlining slot for the NFL’s championship game, a goal his team has been vocal about in recent months.

In a November 2025 interview, Brown’s longtime manager, Anthony “Ant” Wilson, stated that he believes a Super Bowl performance is inevitable, calling it a “great place” for the artist.
