Songz appears to be taking the mixed reactions in stride, even re-sharing a meme on his own social media that poked fun at his bald transition.

Supporters of the “Trigga” singer have jumped to his defense, with one fan noting, “A cut won’t dim his talent… I know what that cut means and I’m ready for it!”

The style update comes as the singer faces ongoing legal issues in New York, where he recently pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor assault and felony mischief charges following two separate nightclub incidents.
