For the eleventh consecutive year, the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry has named Drake the best-selling rapper in the world.

The superstar secured the number three spot on the 2025 Global Artist Chart, trailing only pop sensation Taylor Swift and the K-pop group Stray Kids.
Despite heavy competition, Drake remains the highest-ranked rapper on the list, outperforming other industry heavyweights like Kendrick Lamar, Tyler The Creator, and Eminem.

This announcement follows several other massive streaming milestones for the rapper, including becoming the first artist in history to have 300 different songs surpass 100 million streams on Spotify.
Fans are currently on high alert for Drake’s ninth studio album, titled ICEMAN, which he recently teased on social media by posting a video in the cold with the caption, “Oooo it’s freezing. About to be.”
