Rihanna publicly expressed her support for Don Lemon by celebrating his 60th birthday with him, sharing a cheerful rooftop selfie on social media.

The photo was captioned by Lemon as “Birthday hijinks with my girl Rihanna,” and featured her 2011 song “Birthday Cake.”

This celebration comes after a notable conflict between Lemon and Nicki Minaj, sparked by Lemon’s live-streaming of a protest at Cities Church in St. Paul, MN, against ICE.

Despite the public feud involving Lemon, Rihanna appeared unbothered, enjoying her time with the journalist on his special day.

Lemon had scheduled a relaxing spa day in a beach town post-birthday celebrations, following a successful night at the NAACP Image Awards where he won four awards.
