Drake Invests In Top Flight Italian Soccer Team

Drake is helping a historic Italian soccer team score big off the field.

The superstar helped Venezia FC secure a massive 100-million-euro investment package.

Drake became an investor in the club in 2024. He recently used his connections to bring sports executive Tim Leiweke into the organization.

Venezia celebrated a major milestone last week. The team officially won promotion back to Italy’s top soccer division.

Leiweke brings years of valuable experience to the team. He previously managed major sports franchises like the LA Galaxy and the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The new co-chairman promised fans he will “engineer a culture of winning” for the historic club.

Leiweke stated the new investment will ensure Venezia becomes a “permanent fixture” in the country’s elite league.
