Babyface and Leon Thomas Added To Essence Festival

The ESSENCE Festival of Culture has added new artists to the 4th of July weekend lineup in New Orleans.

Babyface and Leon Thomas have been confirmed.

Other artists include George Clinton, Big Boi, Scarface, Big Freedia, Cardi B, Latto, Kehlani, Patti LaBelle, Brandy, Monica, Public Enemy, and Doug E. Fresh.

The festival’s Evening Concert Series will unfold across three nights, with specific themes: contemporary R&B on Friday, classic R&B on Saturday, and a celebration of funk and legacy artists on Sunday.
