Jay-Z set a new record for the most ticket sales for a single concert at Yankee Stadium, selling 45,832 tickets for his second show, surpassing his previous record of 44,916 tickets sold the night before.

Both concerts were sold out.
The concerts celebrated the 25th anniversary of Jay-Z’s iconic album “The Blueprint,” which was released in 2001.
Special guests included Eminem, who performed “Renegade” with Jay-Z and later his own hit “Lose Yourself.” Other notable performers included Slick Rick and Pharrell Williams.+

The audience featured numerous celebrities, such as Alex Rodriguez, Robinson Cano, Fat Joe, Dave Chappelle, Dwyane Wade, and Gabrielle Union.
The first night also had surprise appearances by NAS, Memphis Bleek, Jaz-O, and Beyoncé, who performed “Can’t Knock The Hustle” alongside Jay-Z, while their daughter Blue Ivy played piano for “Feelin’ It.”
The final concert in the series faced significant issues, being delayed for several hours past its scheduled start time of 8 p.m., with Jay-Z citing concerns for crowd safety after 10,000 people attempted to rush the gates.
⚠️This was part of the issue that caused the delay at the Jay-Z show – @yankeestadium please improve security and organization as this could have been dangerous for those outside and inside the stadium‼️ pic.twitter.com/WW6WcCfQgT
