Owen Wilson Hits Rolling Loud in Wild New Festival Comedy – Watch The “Rolling Loud: The Movie” Trailer

Owen Wilson is heading to one of hip-hop’s biggest festivals for Rolling Loud: The Movie, a new comedy hitting theatres on October 2.

The film follows Wilson as a dad who secretly takes his 13-year-old son to Rolling Loud Miami after being told not to — only to somehow lose him in the middle of the festival.

What follows is a chaotic mission through Rolling Loud as Wilson teams up with comedian Matt Rife to track his son down.

The movie also comes with some serious hip-hop cameos. Travis Scott, Sexyy Red, Ty Dolla $ign and Ski Mask the Slump God are all expected to appear, with Henry Winkler also part of the cast.

And the craziest part? The idea is loosely based on something that actually happened.

Director Jeremy Garelick says he took his own 13-year-old son to Rolling Loud Los Angeles a few years ago and lost him for about half an hour. After finally finding him, Garelick realized the terrifying parenting moment could actually make a pretty funny movie.

Rolling Loud: The Movie arrives in theatres October 2.
