Drake made a surprise appearance in his hometown over the weekend, popping up during Gordo’s headlining set at the Taraka festival in Toronto’s Port Lands.

Drizzy came out to show love to his longtime collaborator before giving the sold-out crowd an unexpected performance of his 2010 hit “Over.” He also stuck around onstage with Gordo, vibing with the crowd throughout the night.

The appearance comes as speculation continues to build around Drake’s mysterious new project, FOMO, believed to stand for Fear of Missing Out.

Drake has a YouTube livestream scheduled for September 15, but he’s still keeping fans guessing about exactly what FOMO is. Later in the night, he added even more fuel to the rumours by teasing what could potentially be artwork connected to the project.

After the way Drake used livestreams to roll out Iceman earlier this year, fans will definitely be watching September 15 to see what he has planned next.
