K-Os, a Canadian rapper, is set to release his first full-length album since 2015’s “Can’t Fly Without Gravity,” following a nearly decade-long hiatus.
The lead single from the upcoming album is titled “Guns & Roses,” which K-Os states recalls the nostalgic sound of his acclaimed album “Joyful Rebellion” from 2004.
Drake, who has been a long-time fan of K-Os, is financing the new album and is also involved through his entertainment group, DreamCrew, which will manage the project’s rollout.
The relationship between K-Os and Drake dates back nearly 20 years, when Drake, then an aspiring rapper, sought a collaboration with K-Os, sending him numerous tracks.
The two artists eventually collaborated on the track “Faith,” which later appeared on K-Os’ mixtape and was reworked for further releases.
K-Os’s announcement of the new project has generated excitement among fans who have been eagerly waiting for his music return.
The upcoming album is managed by Matte Babel, who serves as Chief Brand Officer at DreamCrew, ensuring the project is further supported by a well-connected team.
