Nelly and Ashanti’s Reality Show Finally Has a Title and Release Date

The couple is inviting fans into their love story with “Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together,” premiering in June 2025 on Peacock. The eight-episode series will follow the married couple as they adjust to newlywed life, parenthood, and busy music careers.

According to Peacock’s press release, the show “follows the electrifying journey of this beloved couple as they reignite their love, navigate the ups and downs of newlywed life, and the challenges of parenthood while juggling their thriving careers. Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.

As chair of the JUNO Rap Advisory Board, MelBoogie has worked to amplify women’s voices in the industry.
