Marvel Reshuffles Avengers Timeline: ‘Doomsday’ and ‘Secret Wars’ Delayed

Marvel Studios has officially delayed the release of its next two Avengers blockbusters. Avengers: Doomsday, initially slated for May 1, 2026, will now premiere on December 18, 2026. Avengers: Secret Wars has been pushed back to December 2027.

The news comes as the studio finalizes its creative direction, with the Russo brothers returning to direct both films. In a significant twist, Robert Downey Jr. will not reprise his iconic role as Iron Man—instead, he’s set to portray the villainous Doctor Doom, marking a dramatic shift in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.
