Vin Diesel Announces Paul Walker’s Brian O’Conner to Return In Final ‘Fast & Furious’ Movie

He made a surprise appearance at FuelFest LA on Saturday (June 28) in Pomona, Calif., joining co-star and friend Tyrese Gibson who shared the moment on his Instagram.
After taking the stage, in a shirt that read “Fast X Part 2 Los Angeles Production 2025” on the back, Vin revealed some big news!
“The studio said to me, ‘Vin, can we please have the finale of Fast & Furious [in] April 2027,'” Diesel began, before the cheering crowd.
“I said, ‘Under three conditions.’ First, is to bring the franchise back to L.A.! The second thing was to return to the car culture, to the street racing,” he shared.
“Dom and Brian O’Conner. That is what you’re gonna get in the finale! Love you!” he said on stage.
Vin offered no further details on how Brian’s return to the franchise will be achieved.
Paul Walker tragically died in a car accident in 2013.
