‘Banned From NO’ Remix: Nicki Minaj Joins Lil Wayne For Remix of ‘The Carter VI’ Song

Nicki Minaj is hopping on a remix with Lil Wayne!

Weezy teased a surprise late Tuesday (June 10) and at midnight, a new remix of Lil Wayne‘s “Banned From NO” featuring Nicki Minaj was released.
“Banned from NO REMIX with the GOAT @liltunechi,” she added on Instagram after the song dropped.
“Banned From NO” is off of Lil Wayne‘s new album Tha Carter VI, which was just released on June 6.
In the remix, Nicki takes shots at JAY-Z, the NFL, and Shannon Sharpe while celebrating their Young Money roots. The remix quickly sent Nicki Minaj trending to the top of X.
This remix marks the first Weezy-Minaj collaboration since 2023’s “RNB” from Pink Friday 2.

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years.
