Ice Cube presented Hill with the Living Legend Award after a star-studded musical tribute featuring Queen Latifah and Common.
Hill accepted the trophy and said it was her duty to “share as much love” as she possibly could.
Janet Jackson stunned the Los Angeles audience by stepping on stage to present Taylor with the Icon of the Year trophy.
Taylor thanked Jackson for the surprise and said, “I worked my ass off 20 years for this.”
The 3 children of D’Angelo introduced an emotional tribute to the late singer and said he was their “biggest hype man and protector.”

Jamie Foxx and his daughter introduced Kehlani for an incredible stripped down version of “Folded”
