Cardi B Voices New York City Subway Public Service Announcements

Cardi B is going to make sure you hear her voice.

The latest campaign involves Cardi voicing public service announcements on the MTA subway in New York City.

Cardi released a video showing a recording session of her work.

In the PSAs, Cardi reminds subway riders, “steps are for stepping, not sitting,” and “these trains don’t move without you, so make sure you pay that fare and keep it real.”

DJ Mel Boogie

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.

As chair of the JUNO Rap Advisory Board, MelBoogie has worked to amplify women’s voices in the industry.
