Drake Helped The Backstreet Boys’ Kevin Richardson Kids’ Realize Their Dad Was “Famous”

The Backstreet Boys recently shared the story of how a chance encounter with Drake led to a massive surprise for their fans in Toronto.

In a new interview, Kevin Richardson recalled the group eating at a restaurant in the city during their DNA Tour when the maître d’ approached their table.

The host said Drake was also dining there and wanted to come over to say hello, which left Richardson’s kids completely shocked.

Drake shared a personal memory during the chat, and Richardson said, “He told a story about, like, his first kiss was to one of our songs.”

That nostalgic conversation prompted Drake to ask if he could join them at their concert, where he ultimately helped the band perform “I Want It That Way” live on stage.
