A street naming ceremony for the late rapper DMX quickly turned into a public family feud in his hometown of Yonkers.

DMX’s eldest son, Xavier Simmons, grabbed the microphone to protest the exclusion of the hip-hop legend’s “original entire family.”

Xavier invited his mother, DMX’s former wife Tashera Simmons, and his siblings to join him on the stage.

He then directly addressed the rapper’s fiancée and estate co-administrator, Desiree Lindstrom, telling the crowd, “Desiree Lindstrom. You have behaved dishonorably.”

Organizers immediately cut Xavier’s microphone, and the Mayor of Yonkers stepped in to officially unveil the “Earl ‘DMX’ Simmons Way” street sign.

Following the drama, Tashera posted a candid video online, stating, “Did my son expose these devils? We built the DMX legacy together.”

What was meant to be a straightforward tribute instead highlighted the complicated reality facing the divided factions of DMX’s living family
