The Los Angeles Rams released a viral short film titled “Thursday” on April 17, 2026, which is a parody of the 1995 cult classic movie Friday. The video serves as the centerpiece for the team’s 2026 NFL Draft campaign and celebrates L.A. culture.
Starring Legacy: O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Destin Tucker (sons of Ice Cube and Chris Tucker) step into their fathers’ original roles as Craig and Smokey. The duo hangs out on the porch discussing the draft and the fact that the Rams have a first-round pick this year and was filmed at the original house from the movie Friday in West Athens, Los Angeles.
Cameos include…Terry Crews as he parodies the neighborhood bully Deebo, flanked by Rams defenders Jared Verse and Byron Young. Kevin Dotson (Rams guard) portrays a version of “Big Worm,” appearing in a lowrider with hair rollers. And YG and radio legend Big Boy also make guest appearances.
