Jhené Aiko is officially returning to music after a hiatus of more than 6 years.

She announced that her 4th studio album will drop on Friday, September 11th.
She took to Instagram to announce that the new project is titled “Westside Whimsy,” marking her first full-length release since her Grammy-nominated album in 2020.
Musically, Jhené most recently teamed up with her rumored love interest, Larry June, on the track ‘California Dream’, featured on his latest album, ‘Who Coppin’, which was released last month.
The upcoming album draws heavily on 90s culture and her personal experiences living in California.
This musical comeback follows her recent business ventures, including a new jewelry line and an Erewhon grocery store smoothie that shares the “Westside Whimsy” name.
While the official tracklist remains under wraps, fans are already speculating that the new music will dive deep into her personal life, including her recent breakup with Big Sean.
