There are multiple spectacular Pride Month events happening throughout Toronto this June celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. Below are FOUR events that are diverse and suitable for wide range of age groups, sexes and genders. And, they are budget friendly!
Show your pride poolside at the Pride Cabana Pool Party, located 11 Polson Street. Dive into an evening of dancing by the lake with disco and house legend Jellybean Benitez DJ’ing, all while watching incredible drag shows headlined by 2019 RuPaul’s Drag Race All Star winner Monét X Change! June 15 – Pride Walk LGBTQ2S+ Heritage in the Village
Enjoy an afternoon walking through Toronto’s queer past and follow the footsteps of those who struggled to find a public space where they could be themselves. The walk starts at The ArQuives, located at 34 Isabella Street, and concludes at AIDS Memorial at Barbara Hall Park, located 519 Church Street. The walk is open to everyone and is FREE! June 20-23 – Green Space Festival
The best alfresco parties in Toronto happen at the Green Space Festival! There will be FREE main events such as Starry Night on June 20th, Lipstick Jungle on June 22nd, and Disco Disco on June 23rd, all at Barbara Hall Park, located at 519 Church Street. There will also be a huge Treehouse Party rocking Bandshell Park at Exhibition Place. Plus, each event is suitable for all ages, and will feature world-class DJs, local and international drag queen royalty and more! Donations are encouraged with all funds supporting year-round programs at The 519, Canada’s largest LGBTQ2S+ community centre serving underserved LGBTQ2S+ communities. June 21 – Summer Wave 2019 Pride Edition
Ride a late night wave of partying at Summer Wave 2019 Pride Edition, located at 366 Queen Street East. DJs SNL and Rem Rxch will be bringing the summer vibes and it’ll all be hosted by Toronto influencer Ajuki. This LGBTQ2S+ party is for everyone and tickets are only $15 in advance and $20 at the door!
