Shannon Sharpe Sets Jim Jones Straight Regarding His Delusional Claims About Being Better/More Relevant Than Nas

Just to bring you up to speed in case you’re not familiar with this story…Dipset rapper Jim Jones sat down with Fat Joe and Jadakiss on a recent episode of their Joe And Jada podcast…Where Jim discusses his place in hip hop as Joe asks him about a comparison that was made on IG about Jim being like Nas, and what Jim thought about that.

Now…During a recent episode of Nightcap, Shannon Sharpe didn’t mince words when he confronted Jim Jones over the claims that he’s all around better than Nas. Around the 1:04:00 mark, the NFL Hall of Famer bluntly asked, “What were you smoking when you said you’re better than Nas?”—setting the stage for a fiery and funny debate.

Sharpe firmly defended Nas, insisting Jim couldn’t touch the Queensbridge icon “past or present” when it comes to lyrical skill. Jim admitted he may have misspoken when boasting about having more Billboard hits than Nas, but stood his ground on one point: he still believes he’d beat Nas in a rap battle today. SMH
