The Met Gala is Tonight! Details and How To Watch

The 2025 Met Gala takes place Tonight (Monday May 5th).
The theme is “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” The Met’s museum display will draw inspiration from Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity.
Pharrell Williams, A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, and Anna Wintour are the chairs, and LeBron James will be the honorary chairperson.
The host committee includes Simone Biles and husband Jonathan Owens, Angel Reese, Sha’Carri Richardson, Spike Lee, Regina King, Ayo Edebiri, Audra McDonald, Jeremy Pope, Doechii, Usher, Tyla, Janelle Monáe, André 3000, and more.
You’ll be able to stream the arrivals on Vogue.com, YouTube, or E! Monday starting at 6:00 pm ET.

DJ Mel Boogie

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.
