The new series follows the conclusion of “Power Book II: Ghost” and “Power Book IV: Force,” where Tariq and Tommy’s paths crossed, paving the way for this collaboration after Tommy’s triumph in Chicago’s drug scene.

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, the executive producer, emphasized the significant anticipation from fans for Tommy and Tariq’s reunion, stating, “Power never dies, and this chapter is our biggest yet.”

Gary Lennon, a veteran writer and producer in the franchise, will serve as the showrunner for “Power: Legacy,” and is joined by several other executive producers, signaling a strong creative team behind the project.

The storyline suggests complications as Tommy returns to New York while dealing with personal circumstances, including his pregnant girlfriend’s uncertain whereabouts following their split.

“Power: Legacy” is the fifth installment in the expanding Power franchise.
