Universal Studios Hollywood Unveils New Details For ‘Fast & Furious’ Roller Coaster

Universal Studios Hollywood is dishing on the new Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift roller coaster! The theme park in the Los Angeles area is currently under construction on the new coaster and ahead of its opening next year. Hollywood Drift will be the park’s first-ever high-speed outdoor roller coaster and will be the faster coaster in any of the Universal Destinations & Experiences parks!
Guests will get to be seated in Dom’s iconic 1970 Dodge Charger and other cars from the series at speeds of 72 MPH. The new Fast & Furious coaster is set to open in 2026.

DJ Mel Boogie

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.

As chair of the JUNO Rap Advisory Board, MelBoogie has worked to amplify women’s voices in the industry.
