Watch: Kevin Hart Goes Uncensored for Opening Monologue At The 2025 BET Awards

Kevin Hart hosted Monday’s BET Awards.

In his opening monologue, Hart did Hart things.
During his ten-minute set, Hart addressed the Sean “Diddy” Combs trial indirectly when he told the audience there would be no afterparties because that’s when things get “slippery.”
Hart also started addressing celebrities by their government name. He called GloRilla Gloria Hallelujah and Snoop Dogg Calvin Broadus.
Kevin also got a phone call saying Kanye West was outside. He told everyone in the crowd not to let him in.
By the way, the monologue aired uncensored, for the most part.

DJ Mel Boogie

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.

As chair of the JUNO Rap Advisory Board, MelBoogie has worked to amplify women’s voices in the industry.
