Shia LaBeouf Arrested in New Orleans

Shia LaBeouf was arrested early Tuesday morning in New Orleans’ French Quarter following an alleged physical altercation during Mardi Gras celebrations.

Local authorities have charged the 39-year-old actor with two counts of simple battery after he was reportedly escorted out of a bar for unknown reasons shortly after midnight.

Footage obtained by TMZ shows the Megalopolis star receiving treatment from paramedics inside an ambulance following the incident, though no serious injuries have been reported.

Witnesses in the area described the actor’s week-long stay in the city as a mix of highs and lows, with some calling him “totally chill” and “friendly” while others claimed he was “terrorizing the city.”

Before the arrest, LaBeouf had been seen prominently around town for several days and even shared a photo on social media showing himself draped in traditional Mardi Gras beads.
