A$AP Rocky reacted to the announcement by praising creative director Matthieu Blazy’s work.

Rocky said, “Matthieu’s imagination is pushing fashion forward. His designs feel both sensitive and strong; they’re grounded in reality but at the same time, always invite one to wonder. I’m so excited to see him at Chanel”.

DJ Mel Boogie

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years. Known for her contributions to community and music organizations, she made history as the DJ for the 2023 JUNO Awards’ tribute to 50 years of hip-hop, sharing the stage with Canadian icons like Kardinal Offishall, Michie Mee, and Choclair in a performance watched by 2.2 million viewers nationwide.

As chair of the JUNO Rap Advisory Board, MelBoogie has worked to amplify women’s voices in the industry. She also co-founded the Black Music Brunch with Maestro Fresh Wes, an annual event celebrating contributors to Black music in Canada.
