N.O.R.E. Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Nas’ Baby Mother Carmen Bryan

N.O.R.E. is facing a civil lawsuit claiming he sexually assaulted Carmen Bryan in May 1999.

Bryan filed the complaint in New York this week. She said the attack happened at a Manhattan nightclub while N.O.R.E. was visibly intoxicated.

Court documents show he physically overpowered her and committed nonconsensual contact until bystanders pulled him away.

Once outside the club, N.O.R.E. recognized her as the partner of Nas and immediately apologized. He said, “Carm, I didn’t know it was you. You’re always doing something different with your hair.”

Attorney Marjorie Mesidor said the apology does not excuse the assault. She said, “No woman signs up to be assaulted.”

N.O.R.E.’s legal team did not immediately respond to requests for comment about the allegations.
