Tupac Shakur’s family is taking new legal action nearly 30 years after his death.

Attorneys for his stepbrother recently filed a major wrongful death lawsuit in Los Angeles.

The court documents allege a massive plot to murder the legendary rapper. The family says the 1996 drive-by shooting involved much more than simple retaliation.

The lawsuit specifically targets 99 unnamed co-conspirators. The family wants to use the legal discovery process to identify these hidden figures and demand answers.

The legal filing references a recent Netflix documentary. The film includes a police interview where a suspect claims Sean Combs offered him $1 million for the hit.

Combs fiercely denies that explosive allegation. He publicly calls the documentary a “shameful hit piece.”

The Shakur family demands justice and financial damages. Their lawsuit states, “There remain individuals who were involved in Tupac’s murder who, for 30 years, have not been held accountable for their crimes.”

The civil lawsuit is completely separate from the current criminal case. Murder suspect Duane Davis currently awaits his trial in Nevada this coming August.
