A 13-year-old from Texas is the national spelling champion.

Faizan Zaki won the Scripps National Spelling Bee on Thursday night.
Zaki was the runner-up in 2024.
Faizan took home the trophy after spelling “eclaircissement.”
The young man won $52,500.

Hailing from Toronto, DJ MelBoogie is one of Canada’s most renowned female DJs, with a career spanning over 30 years.
